Long Time, No See

Hello my beloved friends, and dear family.
I’ve missed you all so. Do to an unfortunate incident of camera damage around Christmas, I’ve been unable to update you all on the progress of my life in almost 2 months. That’s nearly 1/3 of my life! A lot has happened. To start with, Mommy worked hard to help me learn to sit up by myself. It was embarrassing to keep falling on my face, but I found a way to compensate and still feel cool.

After learning to sit, Daddy started to teach me one of “the most important” things a young boy can learn… how to go all out for the loose ball. “FUMBLE!”

Once I’ve secured possession, I show Daddy that I know just what to do with the ball as well (it’s the same plan I implement and have perfected with anything I manage to get my hands on).


I’ve also learned to play my first piano. There are only 5 keys and each one just sings a song about a different animal, but I can sit and push them over and over, and over, and over, and over, and over…… … ..

JUMP! This is my favorite new word! Jump, jump, jump! Jumpa, jumpa, jumpa… I’ve got a jumper now. I jump and jump. It’s SO fun. No matter where in the house we are, Mommy can put me in the doorway and I jump and jump. I love to wear my Lion shoes for traction and jump all day long.

I’m also working very diligently on my efforts to crawl. Unfortunately, as of yet I can only scoot backwards in the opposite direction I want to go. It can be quite frustrating, but I try to always keep a smile on my face.

OK, ready for my newest and finest achievement… Look at me! I’m standing in my crib! Daddy or Mommy still have to stand me up, but once up, I hold on tight and can stand for a few minutes. It’s quite a view from standing in my crib. You should come over, climb in with me and see it.
