Pastimes

Hey everyone,
I've been unable to write you all for a while because my Daddy has been working more. Sorry about that. Things are going great for me. I enjoy many pastimes throughout my day. One of my newest favorites is playing with my stuffed animal dogs. Here I am smiling at Crazydogg (that's his ear in the corner).

Dalmation is a much calmer dog. Here I am taking a little snooze with Dalmation. He's a good nap buddy.

When Daddy comes home, sometimes he lays next to me to look at Crazydogg. We have fun.

Crazydogg has crazy eyes!

Another activity I've learned to appreaciate is bath time. Mmmmm. The water is so warm all over me. And...it's the only time I'm allowed to hang out without my diaper. Naked is fun.

"Hey! Whoa... Mommy, what are you doing with my arm???"

When tired of playing with my toys, I turn to more sophisticated pastimes, like reading. When my parents are around, they want me to read books like Fox in Sox, Clifford, and Skipito. But when they're gone, I indulge in more interesting literature. Here Daddy caught me with one of his books.

Going on trips is also exciting. Here are Mommy and I at Nani & Papi's. I never got a picture with Nani and Papi on this trip. I hope I will next time.

Well, I love you all! Hope to see you.

Love, Joey III

Many Moods of a Military Man

Hello Sirs & Mams!
Bby Mazzoncini here.
Writin' to communicate my current situation.
Seems Mommy & Daddy think it is cute and funny
to give me my own little BDUs.
What do you think?
A military man (baby) must have many moods. For starters, we must all learn that there's a time to be cute, and a time to be serious. When Pvt. Knownothing is messing around and needs to be squared away, I give him this look.

When he responds with some foolish comment, this "I can't hear you Pvt!" look comes in quite useful.

Sounding off while standing at attention is a skill all military men (babys) must possess. "I don't know but I've been told, Some day I'll grow and be old, I don't know but it's been said, then I'll have hair on my head!"

When a hard duty day is done, you've given your all and achieved your mission, then there's always a little time for just plain silliness (my favorite).

Oh my! I just noticed what my t-shirt says. How embarrassing!

OK, all that Military stuff is fine, but it wore me out. I'm going to go cuddle with my Mommy now. I love you all! Joey

My First Over-Nighter

Hello my wonderful Family & Friends!

I hope you are all doing well. I sure am. I keep eating and growing and eating and growing. It's hard work, but someone has to do it. I'm proud to report that last night I slept through the night for the first time, 9 1/2 hours from bedtime until morning feeding! And I'm only 7 1/2 weeks old! Daddy says I'm an overachiever, but Mommy says he's biased. What's biased? For that matter, what's overachiever?

Well, Mommy & Daddy's 5th Wedding Aniversary was last week, and do you know what they did??? I was really excited because they got all dressed up. I thought we were all headed for a great evening together. Then....

they ditched me!?!

Actually, they dropped me off at Grandma Lyndon's house to stay OVERNIGHT. Grandma, Grandpa, & Autie Kendra took excellent care of me. They treated me like a prince. I love them.

They held me, cuddled me, bounced me, changed me, and fed me breastmilk just like Mommy does (I wonder where they got it?).

Then, Grandma made me a bed in my Mommy's old craddle and I spent the night. She even made me a changing table just like mine at home. She hung a bear with a soccer ball over it just like mine at home! It was wonderful.

I was SO happy with Grandma Lyndon that I showed her my big smile while on her changing table.

The next day Mommy & Daddy came back and I was very glad to see them. Well, that's the story of my first overnighter. My diaper is feeling a little damp so I've got to fuss now. Look forward to talking with you all later.

Love, Joey
